As part of our psychosocial programmes, each child has an opportunity to meet his/her case manager every six months, the family and the children’s home team to discuss issues pertaining to the child’s progress and the future plans for the child. Since the beginning of 2013, we have conducted more than 10 case review meetings. During these meetings children are encouraged to ask questions and seek for clarity concerning their stay at the home or their plans for the future. They play a big role in decisions that the team make in assisting the child’s holistic development. This is one of our most interesting programmes as we get an opportunity to plan well for each child.
